Onyx and Milk

Hi I'm Jordene,

It is a pleasure to meet you. I started Onyx and Milk because I  have a love for all things black and white and I realized I have allowed those colors to lead me to a colorful life. Whether it is in my home or my style, black and white has had a main role in my life. Black and white is everything I hold in my heart. Black and white is a feeling or a state, both completely complex and simple at the same time. Black is like the ink of my soul and the world is white like paper, I want to leave my mark. That being said, my life is not absent of every other color, it is quite the opposite. My life is full of colors, textures and point of views that range from both ends of the spectrum.

I'm passionate, innovative, funny, orphic and completely out of "The Box" when it comes to designing and creating balance in my life. I’m a mom of a smart and handsome teenage boy that loves to challenge me. I am a partner, lover and everything to my Mister. I am a home chef, and considers cooking a form of magic. I have a degree in interior design, which has totally changed my perceptions about light, space and color and the importance it plays in our everyday life. I adore beautiful objects, so you can say shopping is a “past time”, I hope you noticed the quotation marks. I was gifted a Sony ax5000 from my Mister and that is what I use apart from my IPhone to take my pictures, and I really revel in taking pictures. I read a lot and love to learn about anything and everything, very curious. I’m told I can be too polite, but I think the world needs more of it. Manners will get you further than what you may know.
