Life is better with the colors of the 🌈

June is Pride Month,LGBTQ communities and those of us who fully support the community come together to celebrate the right for everyone to be free to be themselves. As humans we have rights, according to the @unitednations “Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination.”

Pride month is a celebration for how far, but not far enough the world has come through an arduous history, whereby these minority groups have struggled for decades to overcome prejudice and to be accepted, loved and respected for who they are.

June was the chosen month to pay homage to the Stonewall uprising that happened in June 1969 in New York City.

Imagine if the world were only black and white, just how boring it would be. Everyone should be allowed to be who they are and love whom they choose.

Life is not black and white it’s full of all the colors of the rainbow 🌈 sit back and enjoy it like a bag of skittles.
